FUTURE TRENDS

Knight Frank, a property consultancy firm, has come up with a report based on extensive research. The report says that India will witness a supply of 1,38,000 residential units in 2010 which is 57% more than the supply seen in 2009. The study also reveals that the developers are now focusing on the middle income segment with upto 3 bedroom-hall-kitchen units rather than 4&5-BHK units some years back. The report estimates that in future 75% of the residential units will fall in this middle segment.
